We're seeking a skilled Associate in the NAV reporting & MIS team. The NAV Reporting & MIS team plays a crucial role in supporting the Trading & Investment desk by conducting essential control checks and generating business intelligence metrics. The selected candidate will join a high-performing, self-motivated team responsible for financial reporting across various sophisticated financial products and asset classes, including Equities, Commodities, Fixed Income, Liquidity, and Structured Credit.

This role encompasses different legal entity structures such as AIF, PMS, NBFC, etc.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. NAV Computation and P&L : Accurately compute daily/periodic trading Profit & Loss, Net Asset Value (NAV), and product-level exposure for Alternative Investment Funds (AIF), Portfolio Management Services (PMS) structures within agreed timelines.

2. Reconciliation and Data Validation: Perform end-to-end reconciliation from Front Office (FO) to Back Office (BO) systems; conduct thorough logical and sanity checks on NAV files to ensure data integrity.

3. Regulatory Compliance: Review and validate NAV-related expenses while ensuring strict adherence to SEBI and other regulatory guidelines relevant to AIF/PMS funds.

4. Ad-hoc Reporting: Prepare customized reports for senior leadership, including position reports, structural analysis, hedging strategies, and irregular business scenarios to support strategic decision-making.

5. Process Improvement: Analyze operational and trading data to identify inefficiencies and recommend data-driven solutions to improve workflow and business performance.

6. Client Issue Resolution: Collaborate in cross-functional team meetings to investigate and resolve recurring client issues, ensuring high service standards and operational excellence.

7. Handle audit related queries and assist in swiftly closing the audit in a timely manner.

Qualifications & Background:

1. Preferred educational qualifications: CA, CMA, BE, or a master's degree in finance/accounting.

2. Extensive knowledge of fund accounting processes (end-to-end) with 1-5 years of relevant experience.

3. Proven ability to deliver consistently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

4. Professional and proactive work approach with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

6. Proficiency in MS Office & majorly in Excel.
