Position: Manager / Sr.

Manager - ESG & Sustainability Advisory

Role Objective

- To lead the launch and growth of a new vertical focused on ESG advisory-starting with Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and carbon footprint consulting, and expanding into broader sustainability strategy and reporting.

- The role demands domain depth, execution confidence, and the ability to build delivery systems alongside leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage registrations with regulatory authorities

- Anchor 3-5 EIA mandates (directly or via strategic partners)

- Develop internal methodology, proposal templates, and costing models

- Liaise with QCI/NABET-accredited partners and onboard technical experts

- Oversee baseline studies, scoping, and compliance reporting

- Build carbon accounting frameworks (Scope 1, 2, 3)

- Draft ESG reports aligned with SEBI BRSR, GHG Protocol, and related standards

- Support business development, thought leadership, and client advisory

- Preferred Educational Qualifications (for ESG & Sustainability Manager/Sr. Manager):

- Postgraduate degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability Management, or related fields

- Candidates with a background in Civil Engineering (with EIA/EMP experience) may also apply

- Additional certifications in GHG Accounting, SEBI BRSR, TCFD, or NABET/QCI accreditation will be an added advantage

- Exposure to climate finance or ESG analytics frameworks ( MSCI/Sustainalytics/GRI) preferred for senior profiles

Preferred Experience:

- 6-12 years in EIA consulting, ESG compliance, or carbon advisory

- Familiarity with MoEFCC norms, BRSR guidelines, and GHG reporting

- Experience with public hearings, stakeholder mapping, EMPs

- Ability to manage technical partners, consultants, and client engagement

- Bonus: Exposure to climate finance, green bonds, or sustainability-linked programs
