Position : GST & Inventory Accounting & Product Costing

Department : Accounts & Finance

Qualification : ICWA / CA (preferred)

Location : Jasola-Delhi (Head Office)

Industry : Sugar Mills / Pulses / Spices / Commodities

Reporting : Head Finance

Role & Responsibilities:

- Oversee end-to-end GST compliance, including timely filings, reconciliations, and audit coordination.

- Manage and supervise stock valuation processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

- Lead Purchase Accounting, ensuring proper recording, reconciliation, and control over procurement transactions.

- Oversee Production Accounting, including cost allocation and tracking of manufacturing expenses.

- Ensure accuracy and integrity of Stock Accounting and inventory records.

- Conduct and supervise physical verification of inventory, ensuring alignment with book records.

- Monitor and analyze the cost of products, ensuring effective cost control mechanisms.

- Drive product costing and production analytics to support business decision-making.

- Prepare and present periodic MIS reports for management review.

- Review and validate business processes to ensure efficiency and compliance.

- Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all functions.

Basic Competencies:

- Qualified ICWA or CA with 6+ years of relevant experience.

- Strong hands-on experience with accounting software such as Tally.

In-depth knowledge of GST regulations, including:

- Filing of GST returns

- Reconciliation of books with GSTN portal

- Preparation of annual returns

- Handling and closure of GST audits

- Proven experience in independently managing GST compliance for a medium-sized organization (approx. - 500 Cr turnover).

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Good planner and organizer of day to day work.
