Manager - Supply Chain Supply chain Management: - Collaborate with buyer and suppler to establish realistic shipment schedules based on production capacity, inventory levels, and customer demand. - Monitor shipment schedules closely and proactively address any deviations or delays to minimize disruptions. - Strategically plan and manage the compliance of shipment schedule from suppliers as per buyer requirement in collaboration with packaging department. - Evaluate supply chain strategies and suggest improvements to reduce cost and enhance supply chain efficiency. - Deep understanding of the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process across a supply chain involving multiple organisations will be an added advantage. Compliance, Audit & Analytics: - Oversee the Purchase orders and check for accuracy as per the forecast shared by buyer. - Verify that all required documentation, like PO & LC, is communicated in an accurate and timely manner to suppliers to facilitate smooth movement of shipments. - Verify the accuracy of invoices from vendors and brokers. - Maintain an updated database of all shipments, deliveries, and returns. - Evaluate the performance of suppliers to ensure they meet compliance requirements and adhere to agreed-upon schedules. - Maintain metrics and analyse data to assess shipment performance and implement improvements. - Handle claims with insurance companies for shipment issues. Customer Service & Relationship Management: - Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and buyer to facilitate effective communication and collaboration. - Resolving day to day queries raised by suppliers and buyer. - Strategically plan and manage the compliance of shipment schedule from suppliers as per buyer requirement in collaboration with packaging department. - Evaluate supply chain strategies and suggest improvements to reduce cost and enhance supply chain efficiency. - Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and buyer to facilitate effective communication and collaboration. - Resolving day to day queries raised by suppliers and buyer. - Responsible for Compliance, Audit & Analytics related to Logistics and Supply chain.
