Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to bridge business requirements and technical execution. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to understand business objectives, analyse processes, and translate complex requirements into clear functional and technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with business stakeholders and product owners to understand business objectives, operational challenges, and project requirements.

- Conduct requirement-gathering sessions, stakeholder interviews, and business workshops to identify and document functional requirements.

- Analyse existing business processes, identify gaps, and recommend solutions for process improvement and operational efficiency.

- Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, business requirement documents, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

- Create and maintain product backlogs, ensuring requirements are clearly documented, prioritized, and aligned with business goals.

- Coordinate with technical teams to ensure business requirements are properly understood and translated into appropriate solutions.

- Work closely with developers, architects, and QA teams throughout the development and implementation lifecycle.

- Analyse system workflows, data flows, integrations, and dependencies to support effective solution planning.

- Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, requirement walkthroughs, and Agile project meetings.

- Perform gap analysis and impact assessments to identify changes required in existing processes and systems.

- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test scenario preparation, execution coordination, defect tracking, and validation.

- Ensure that developed solutions meet business requirements and defined acceptance criteria.

- Manage requirement changes, maintain documentation, and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.

- Identify opportunities for process automation, system enhancements, and continuous improvement.

- Prepare project documentation, functional reports, process flows, and stakeholder presentations.

- Monitor requirement implementation and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Experience in Business Analysis, requirement management, and enterprise project environments.

- Strong understanding of business requirement gathering, process mapping, and functional documentation.

- Experience preparing business requirement documents, functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

- Knowledge of product backlog management, prioritization, and Agile methodologies.

- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, developers, architects, and QA professionals.

- Understanding of APIs, system integrations, data flows, and enterprise application concepts.

- Familiarity with relational databases, data modelling, and cloud-based business applications.

- Experience in gap analysis, impact assessment, UAT, and defect management.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

- Excellent verbal and written communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.

- Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear and actionable deliverables.

Preferred Skills:

- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and other requirement and project management tools.

- Exposure to software development lifecycle and enterprise application implementation projects.

- Understanding of REST APIs, SOAP integrations, and microservices architecture.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
