Role Overview :

The Investor Relationship Manager will play a strategic role in securing investments, identifying acquisition opportunities, and enhancing Allied Engineering Works financial visibility in the smart energy and infrastructure sector. This individual will serve as a key interface between the company and the investor community, ensuring continuous alignment between business goals, financial performance, and capital needs. The role demands strong networking skills, deep understanding of investment dynamics in manufacturing and energy sectors, and the ability to maintain up-to-date financial and business presentations for strategic outreach.

Key Responsibilities:

- Solicit and Cultivate Investors: Lead proactive outreach to domestic/international investors, pitch AEWs story, maintain relationships, and manage transaction execution.

- Identify M&A Opportunities: Evaluate targets, perform due diligence, financial modeling, valuation, and strategic assessment for acquisitions or joint ventures.

- Maintain Business Deck & Data Room: Ensure upto-date investor and board decks, financial models, and information packages are always ready.

- Information Stewardship: Continuously update and provide accurate financial, technical, operational, and competitive data to internal and external stakeholders.

- Benchmarking & Competitive Intelligence: Track peer and competitor activity in the smart energy, metering, and utilities sector, derive insights and metrics.

- Leverage Network and Track Record: Leverage deep industry contacts and past successful investments or deals especially within manufacturing or energy infrastructure.

- Collaborate with Leadership: Work closely with CFO, MD & CEO, Board, Finance, Strategy, Legal & Technical teams to ensure alignment on financial and strategic objectives.

- Investor Reporting & Communication: Develop reports for shareholders and institutional investors, manage investor queries, and participate in board meetings or roadshows.

Qualifications:

Desired Qualifications and Skills:

- Education: MBA Finance (preferred), CA or other such equivalent

- 12- 15 years of relevant experience in investor relations, corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, or strategic M&Apreferably in manufacturing, energy metering, smart infrastructure, or utilities.

- Proven track record of raising capital, executing acquisitions or fund-raising deals in relevant sectors.

- Strong existing network of investors (PE funds, strategic corporates, financial institutions) with experience in manufacturing or infrastructure.

- Excellent analytical skillsfinancial modeling, valuation, market benchmarking.

- Highly polished communication: adept at storytelling and creating compelling business decks.

- Familiarity with technical and financial aspects of smart meter manufacturing, IoT/AMI technologies, and utility sector dynamics.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality, manage sensitive data, and operate under high pressure.

- Strong leadership presence, project management capability, and strategic mindset.
