Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Credit Relationship Manager to join our team in Pune.
This role is ideal for a professional with 5-7 years of experience in credit analysis, relationship management, and financial services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of corporate clients, providing tailored credit solutions, and driving business growth while mitigating risk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Portfolio Management: Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate clients, acting as the primary point of contact for all credit-related needs.
- Credit Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow analysis, to assess creditworthiness and risk.
- Loan Structuring: Structure, negotiate, and present credit proposals for various products such as term loans, working capital facilities, and project finance.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing strategic financial advice.
- Risk Mitigation: Monitor the credit quality of the portfolio, identify potential risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all credit activities adhere to internal policies, regulatory guidelines, and legal requirements.
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation for all client accounts.
- Business Development: Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities, cross-selling other banking products and services to existing and new clients.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including product specialists, legal, and operations, to deliver seamless and efficient service to clients.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certifications (e., CFA, CA) are highly preferred.
- Experience: 5-7 years of experience in corporate credit, relationship management, or a similar role within the banking or financial services industry.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage a diverse portfolio and achieve business targets.
- In-depth knowledge of credit products, financial markets, and regulatory frameworks.
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
