Aliens Group - Chartered Accountant

Location: Aliens Space Station, Tellapur, Hyderabad

Mode: On Site | Work from Office

Work timings: Mon-Sat 11-8PM

Role & responsibilities:

- Preparation of financial statements as per schedule III of Companies Act, 2013 including notes to accounts for the group companies at regular intervals

- Monthly closing activities for MIS Reporting - Investors, Internal stakeholders, Lenders and compliance with the relevant regulatory bodies

- Financial management, including statutory compliance, budget and forecast preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures

- Managing Internal and Statutory audits, coordinating with the auditors, liaise with auditors and ensure timely closure of external audits

- Tax Planning and overall tax compliance for all group entities. Preparation of response/details for scrutiny cases

- Ensuring timely payment and filing of direct and Indirect taxes & returns

- Representing/ liaising with various tax authorities at different levels - GST (Commissioner); Income Tax Authority (Assistant commissioner); VAT & Service Tax (Commissioner)

- Handling the income tax assessment work of Group Companies and appearing before the assessing authorities; coordinating and following up with various Tax Authorities

Preferred candidate profile:

- Chartered Accountant qualified in first/second attempt

- Knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards(Ind-AS) mandatory

- Experience in accounting, real estate accounting, or property accounting; independent handling of both Direct tax, Indirect tax, Income tax, and related compliances

- Strong quantitative, financial and analytical skills; experience compiling data and financial information

- Strong communication skills (oral, written, presentation); demonstrated strong interpersonal skills

- High degree of professionalism, with the ability to manage internal and external relationships
