Product Sales Specialist
Role Overview:
This is a dynamic, technical Product Sales position requiring 2 to 10+ years of experience in sales in a technical domain.
Located Onsite (WFO) at HSR Layout, Bangalore, the incumbent will be responsible for driving revenue growth by focusing on high-tech wireless solutions and test & measurement equipment.
The role demands a blend of technical depth, sales acumen, and effective communication skills to engage stakeholders ranging from engineers to business leaders.
Job Summary
We are seeking a technical Product Sales Specialist (210+ years of experience) with a strong background in sales within a high-tech domain. The ideal candidate must possess a good understanding of WiFi/WiFi-7, test & measurement tools, and performance validation processes. Key responsibilities include identifying and engaging prospective customers (OEM/ODMs, ISPs, enterprises), aggressively building the sales pipeline through proactive outreach and trade shows, and clearly articulating complex technical details to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities and Sales Development Deliverables
Customer Identification and Engagement:
- Identify and engage with prospective customers in strategic technology segments, including OEM/ODMs, ISPs, and large enterprises.
- Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers and technical influencers within target accounts.
Pipeline Generation and Business Development:
- Build a pipeline through proactive outreach (calls, emails, LinkedIn) and active participation in industry events and trade shows.
- Develop and qualify new business opportunities for wireless testing and performance validation solutions.
Technical Product Expertise:
- Possess a Good understanding of WiFi/WiFi-7 standards, architecture, and deployment challenges.
- Demonstrate proficiency with test & measurement tools and procedures used for performance validation, signal integrity, and interoperability testing in wireless environments.
Communication and Proposal Development:
- Leverage Good Communication skills to effectively explain technical details to non-technical stakeholders (e.g., procurement, management).
- Write clear, compelling proposals and presentations that accurately address customer technical requirements and highlight the value proposition of the products.
Sales Execution:
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact and discovery through negotiation and closing.
Mandatory Skills & Attributes
- Experience: 2 to 10+ years of experience in sales in technical domain.
- Technical Knowledge: Good understanding of WiFi/WiFi-7, test & measurement tools, performance validation, etc.
- Communication: Good Communication skills for technical explanation and proposal writing.
- Sales Focus: Proven ability to Identify and engage with prospective customers (OEM/ODMs, ISPs, enterprises) and Build a pipeline.
Preferred Skills
- Direct experience selling wireless testing equipment (e.g., network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, channel emulators).
- Technical knowledge of other networking protocols (e.g., 5G, Bluetooth).
- Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) for pipeline management and reporting.\
