Key Role Overview
The Senior Manager/AVP of Corporate Strategy will be a key member of the CEO's office/Strategy Team, responsible for driving high-impact strategic initiatives across the organization.
This role involves working closely with C-suite executives to analyze new market opportunities, evaluate business unit performance, and chart the company's long-term growth trajectory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Lead the annual and long-term strategic planning process, including scenario analysis and goal setting for all business units.
- Market Analysis: Conduct deep-dive market research, competitive landscaping, and industry trend analysis to identify white spaces and potential disruptions.
- M&A Support: Assist in evaluating potential Merger & Acquisition (M&A) targets, conduct due diligence, and support post-merger integration planning.
- Project Leadership: Own and drive high-priority, cross-functional strategic projects (e., launching a new business vertical, optimizing go-to-market strategy, implementing organizational change).
- Performance Monitoring: Design and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) to measure the effectiveness of strategic initiatives.
- Executive Communication: Prepare compelling presentations and reports for the Board of Directors, CEO, and Senior Leadership Team, synthesizing complex data into clear, actionable insights.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong Analytical Acumen: Exceptional proficiency in financial modeling, quantitative analysis, and structuring complex business problems.
- Executive Presence: Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment in a matrixed organization.
- Consulting Toolkit: Experience in strategic consulting, internal strategy, or investment banking is highly preferred.
- Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; ability to create world-class strategic decks (PowerPoint).
- Proactive & Ownership: A self-starter with a high sense of ownership and the ability to operate effectively in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment
