AkzoNobel - Senior Data Scientist - Advanced Analytics

About the role:

The Advanced Analytics team is positioned within IT Delivery and serves as the brain of the business where insights are generated, processes are automated, and solutions are built. Our solutions are mainly focused on Supply Chain and Commercial.

Responsibilities:

- Collect business requirements from various stakeholders including Data Scientists, Product Managers, and IM.

- Translate business requirements into technical requirements, systems, and solutions.

- Design, develop, and document technical solutions.

- Develop and maintain PowerBI reports.

- High interest in developing E2E data solutions.

- Follow DevOps and Agile ways of working.

Basic Qualifications:

- BE, B.Tech, or MCA degree.

- Experience in designing and building advanced reports.

- Proficiency in programming languages: Python, PySpark, SQL.

- Sound communication skills and a curious, team-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

- MSc in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or any quantitative field.

- Experience with big data frameworks: Databricks, Apache Hadoop, Apache Spark, RapidMiner, Cloudera.

- Experience in supply chain and familiarity with Agile.
