



Description: The Area Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market share, and strengthening dealer and influencer relationships within the assigned territory for decorative/industrial paints.
Sales & Revenue Growth:
- Achieve primary and secondary sales targets for the assigned territory
- Drive volume, value, and profitability in line with AOP
- Execute company sales strategies and promotional plans
Channel & Dealer Management:
- Appoint, manage, and develop dealers/distributors
- Ensure optimal dealer coverage, visibility, and stock availability
- Monitor credit, collections, and outstanding payments
Market Development:
- Expand presence in new markets, towns, and rural outlets
- Track competitor activities and recommend counter-strategies
- Improve product mix and penetration of premium products
Influencer Management:
- Develop and manage relationships with painters, contractors, architects, and influencers
- Drive loyalty programs, painter meets, and engagement activities
Team Management:
- Lead and guide Sales Officers / Territory Sales Executives
- Conduct joint field visits, reviews, and capability building
- Ensure team productivity and performance tracking
Marketing & Execution:
- Ensure effective in-shop branding, visibility, and merchandising
- Implement marketing campaigns and scheme rollouts on ground
- Coordinate with marketing and supply chain teams
Reporting & Compliance:
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales reports and MIS
- Ensure compliance with company policies and processes
