Role Overview
We are seeking an energetic and target-driven Area Sales Manager to lead and expand our sales operations across Jammu & Kashmir. The role involves team leadership, client engagement, and driving regional sales growth in alignment with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities (KRA)
- Drive revenue and sales growth across assigned territories
- Manage and mentor a team of sales representatives to achieve performance goals
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to capture new business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate and B2B clients
- Monitor competitor activities and adjust strategies to stay ahead in the market
- Regularly report sales performance, forecasts, and market feedback to senior management
- Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain credit discipline
- Organize promotional events, roadshows, and marketing campaigns in the region
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth service delivery
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and resolve client issues promptly
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience (3-5 years) in sales, preferably in the travel or tourism industry
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Solid understanding of sales performance metrics and data-driven decision-making
- Ability to develop and implement effective regional sales strategies
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and target-driven environment
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field
