Preferred Candidate :

Job Summary :
Responsible for execution of entire Planning of F&B/Merchandise products service delivery on-board for seamless customer experience. Need to analyze business data, evaluate operational performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support strategic and operational decisions.
Jointly accountable for the successful delivery of Ancillary Products, across all portfolios and channels, leading to sustained margin growth in line with or exceeding budget.
Key Responsibilities :
Business Strategy:
- Contribute insights for pricing strategies, menu planning, and airline contract proposals. Assist in preparing business cases, market assessments, and investment analysis.
- Understand/monitor the ancillary market, determine customer's needs, and develop competitive analysis for defining a vision of F&B products. Track competitor benchmarks and industry trends.
Operational Performance:
- Conduct workflow and process analyses to identify areas for efficiency improvement.
- Support cost optimization by analyzing food costs, and logistics metrics. Evaluate vendor performance and supply chain effectiveness.
Strategic Planning:
- Keep up to date with latest trends and aim for 'First to Launch' service/product in the skies and stay ahead pf competition.
- Develop and execute long-term business strategies aligned with the company's vision and goals. Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams in the aviation catering market. Drive innovation in product offerings, processes, and service delivery.
Compliance & Quality:
- Assurance Ensure adherence to international aviation food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO, IATA).Continuously review products / packaging / services / automation and processes. Oversee internal audits, hygiene controls, and regulatory compliance.
- Promote a culture of safety and quality excellence. Design all SOPs for the catering department and ensure compliance by regularly conducting internal audits.
Business Analysis:
- Collect, analyse, and interpret large datasets related to catering operations, logistics, costs, and customer service. Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and reports for leadership teams.
- Analyze data like Flight Reports, Customer complaints/compliments, actual sales - compared to forecast, delivery timelines, inventory wastage, discrepancy reports,
Stakeholder Management:
- Liaise with internal stakeholders in In-Flight, OCC, Dispatch, APS, I.T. and other relevant departments as and when required.
- Align all stakeholders around the vision for the product. Ensures that 'On Time Performance' is never compromised upon due to catering operations.
Desire Qualifications:
- Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline from premium B School / Engineering
- Preferred Hotel Management degree/diploma with relevant experience.
Preferred Relevant Experience :
- 10 to 15 years of experience
- Combination of Operations Management /Excellence & Business Strategy /Business Leadership.
- Of which last 3+ years should be in capacity of functional lead of mid - large business vertical / corporation.
- Any exposure to F&B domain and aviation is an added advantage
- Experience of having led a team of10-15members / specialist, having sub teams / vendors.
- Good exposure to licensing and legal metrology legislations and collective bargaining in vendor management.
