
Job Description: -
- The Finance Transformation team will be responsible for leading and managing the transformation of the finance function to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and strategic impact. This role involves overseeing the implementation of new financial systems, processes, and strategies to support the organization's goals.
- This role will provide a 360 degree view on how the entire Finance function works in an airline by focusing on the following:
- Develop Transformation Vision: Develop and execute a comprehensive finance transformation strategy aligned with the organization's objectives.
- Finance Reviews: Conduct Finance Reviews and act as the CFO's voice to ensure the various Finance KPIs are being met.
- Project Management: Lead and manage transformation projects, ensuring timely and successful implementation of new systems and processes.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations, including automation and digitalization initiatives.
- Change Management: Drive change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and systems across the finance function.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders, including Akasa and Finance leadership, to align transformation initiatives with business needs.
Qualification & Experience: -
- MBA from Tier 1 institute
- 2 - 3 yrs of post MBA experience.
- Engineering background preferred as this team will extensively work on IT enablement
- Professional certification such as PMP, six-sigma desirable
- Looking for more of behavioural attributes such as having a strong sense of urgence, having a deep sense of ownership and still working as an enabler with the organizational, strong skills in managing and working with senior stakeholders
