Role: VP - Operational Risk

Location: Mumbai

Role Purpose:

Set up and lead the operational risk framework across the NBFC's lending, investment, treasury and support functions.

Job Responsibilities:

- Build and run the operational risk framework covering RCSA, KRIs, loss events, incident reporting and key process/control risks.

- Review new products, processes and system changes and identify control gaps across lending, treasury and operations.

- Oversee outsourcing/partner and vendor risks, including periodic reviews of lending partners and key customer-facing processes.

- Oversee the BCP/DR framework and operational risks relating to fraud and IT/cyber, working with Compliance, IT and InfoSec.

- Ensure root-cause analysis and timely closure of operational risk issues and report key risks to senior management/Risk Committee.

- Establish a strong operational risk and control culture across the organization.

Experience & Qualification:

8 - 12 years in operational risk/internal controls with a bank, NBFC or financial institution; hands-on experience in building RCSA/KRI frameworks preferred.
