Role Overview:

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Fund Accounting professional to manage accounting, reporting, and operational aspects for Alternative Investment Funds (AIF) and Portfolio Management Services (PMS). The role requires strong domain expertise in fund accounting, exposure to AIF structures, and hands-on experience with Wealth Spectrum.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage end-to-end fund accounting for AIF (Category II & III) and PMS structures.

- Maintain accurate books of accounts, including NAV calculation, portfolio valuation, and investor allocations.

- Handle capital calls, distributions, and drawdowns for AIF structures.

- Reconcile fund positions with custodians, brokers, and counterparties.

- Coordinate with AIF custodians for trade settlements, reporting, and compliance requirements.

Prepare periodic reports including:

- Investor reports

- Financial statements

- Performance reports

- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory guidelines (SEBI, accounting standards, etc.).

- Assist in audits (internal & statutory) and liaise with auditors.

- Work closely with operations, compliance, and investment teams for smooth fund operations.

- Utilize Wealth Spectrum for accounting, reporting, and reconciliation activities.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Strong understanding of:

- Fund Accounting principles

- AIF and PMS structures

- Hands-on experience with Wealth Spectrum is mandatory.

- Good knowledge of NAV calculation and investor accounting.

- Familiarity with AIF custodial processes and reporting.

- Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.

- High attention to detail and accuracy.

- Ability to manage multiple funds and deadlines efficiently.

Preferred / Added Advantage:

- Exposure to compliance and regulatory reporting (SEBI/AIF regulations).

- Experience in working with fund administrators or asset management firms.

- Prior interaction with auditors and regulatory bodies.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- CA with 4-6 years of relevant experience in fund accounting.

- Prior experience in AIF / PMS / Asset Management / Fund Administration setups.

- Strong system orientation with hands-on exposure to fund accounting platforms.
