Role - Sr. Manager/AVP - Credit Analyst (Corporate/Non-BFSI Sector)

Location: Mumbai (BKC)

Role Summary: We are seeking a diligent professional to conduct deep fundamental analysis on corporate bond issuers and structured finance transactions, form a definitive independent credit view, and anchor credit discussions with institutional investors.

Key Responsibilities -

1. Deep-Dive Financial Analysis:

- Analysis of Balance Sheets, P&L, and Cash Flows for companies in Manufacturing, Infrastructure and Real Estate Sectors.

- Examination of business health beyond standard ratios, specifically focusing on promoter and management profile, financial management, working capital cycles, cash flow quality and identification of hidden risks.

2. Creation of the Credit Rationale:

- Preparation of brief but comprehensive Credit Notes and Investment Memos containing persuasive arguments and not just data summaries.

- Formulation of a clear "GO" or "No-GO" decision, outlining risk factors and mitigants.

3. Independent Thinking & Defense:

- Active participation in internal Investment Committee meetings to present deal proposals.

- Defense of the credit view against internal scrutiny; ensuring the final investment decision is backed by logic and independent conviction.

4. Anchoring Investor Discussions:

- Anchoring of credit discussions with institutional investors (Mutual Funds, Insurance Companies, Bank Treasuries) alongside the Sales team.

- Clarification of technical queries such as regarding debt structure and cash flows raised by external investors.

- Articulation of the credit rationale simply and convincingly to external stakeholders.

Requirements

- Education: CA (Chartered Accountant) or MBA in Finance.

- Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in Credit Analysis or Ratings.
