Department: Coverage - SLU & Municipal (Transaction advisory & Fund raising)

Designation: Manager/Senior Manager

Location: Mumbai

Candidate will be primarily responsible for:

- Preparing & assisting and client-facing materials such as presentations and pitch books.

- Conduct industry, sector, and company-specific research to identify potential investment banking opportunities and clients

- Assisting and carrying out the due diligence process by gathering and coordinating information for various aspects, such as financial, legal, and tax reviews.

- Participating and attending calls and meetings with clients and investors as needed.

- Preparing & assisting in preparation of presentations and reports & supporting business development.

- Engaging in efficient coordination with internal team for accomplishment of various tasks allocated.

- Meeting &building relationship with senior & mid-management of clients.

- Carrying out business development by acquisition of new clients.

- Assisting in preparation of research reports & data repository by studying annual reports, financial statements of various government organisations / entities, understanding their business models, balance sheets, Income - Expenditure statement, cash flows. Identifying & understanding their borrowing requirements.

- Preparing & assisting in preparation of reports over State & Municipal finances by Studying Budget documents of Central & State Governments and Urban Local Bodies, reports from RBI, State Finance Commission, Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance, etc. analysis published by credit rating agencies & others.

- Preparing & assisting in studying & preparing reports over various on-going infrastructure schemes launched by Government of India including Smart city mission, AMRUT mission, housing for all etc.

- Keep track of the tenders published by various state government entities with respect to fundraising, understanding the tender requirements and preparation & submission of bid documents.

- Engaging in Transaction advisory services, preparation of the execution documents such as information memorandums/detailed fund raising documents/other deal related documents after carrying out internal due diligence.

- Preparing & assisting in preparation of financial models, cash flow statements, projections, financial ratio analysis, etc.

- Engaging in efficient coordination with various intermediaries including Credit rating agencies & legal counsels for forming borrowing structure and legal documentation.

- Studying & Understanding & be updated of the regulatory framework for debt fund raising including guidelines issued by SEBI, Companies Act, Central & State Government.

- The applicant should be open to travel pan India based on the work requirements.

Candidate's Profile:

- Good communication & interpersonal skill

- Prior Experience of 3 to 5 years in any of the activities mentioned in responsibilities or with any Capital Market intermediaries like Stock Exchange, Debenture trustee, Registrar, Credit rating, Investment Banking etc. involving client facing and /or execution of assignment.

- Aggressive/ "Go - Getter attitude"

- Should be good at number crunching, data analysis & interpretation of the same with a solid hands on experience in MS-Office (Word, excel & PowerPoints)

- Detail oriented, precise, organized and able to work independently and manage / prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously

Experience: 3-5 years

Qualification: MBA Finance (LLB degree will be an added advantage)

Travel Requirement: Yes

Industry Preferred: Financial Services (Investment Banking/ Banks / Broking/ KPOs)
