AK Group - Deal Origination/Deal Sourcing Role - Investment Banking

Experience Required: 4-8 years in Mid-Corporate/Large Corporate Banking, Debt Capital Markets (DCM), or Structured Finance.

Role Purpose :

To originate and manage high-value relationships with mid and large corporate clients to drive business across three core verticals: Bond Placement (DCM), NBFC Lending and AIF (Private Credit). The role involves structuring credit solutions and managing the end-to-end deal lifecycle from sourcing to divestment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Origination & Business Development

- Analysis of different sectors and large corporate groups to identify funding requirements suitable for bond issuance or private credit.

- Sourcing of mandates for corporate bond placements (NCDs/CPs) and structured credit.

- Pitching of the firm's multi-product capabilities (NBFC, AIF, and Syndication) to CFOs and Promoters.

2. Credit Structuring & Product Placement

- Structuring of credit facilities including term loans for the NBFC book and specialized high-yield opportunities for the AIF.

- Evaluation of project viability, cash flow sustainability, and credit enhancement mechanisms for bond ratings.

3. Relationship & Portfolio Management

- Management of a high-growth portfolio within the Infrastructure and Manufacturing sectors, focusing on EPC, Renewables, and Logistics.

- Coordination with legal and compliance teams to ensure seamless execution of bond documentation and loan disbursements.

- Tracking of early warning signals and credit hygiene to maintain zero-NPA thresholds for the NBFC and AIF books.
