Airtel Payments Bank - Product Lead - Business Accounts

Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Lead Business Accounts to drive the growth of Airtel Payments Banks Current Account portfolio and Merchant Acquisition ecosystem. The role will be responsible for ideating, launching, and managing business account propositions, merchant onboarding journeys, and value-added use cases that enhance customer adoption and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive acquisition and growth of Current Accounts and Merchant Relationships across target segments.

- Design and optimize digital onboarding and servicing journeys for business customers.

- Develop and launch new use cases, including payments, debit cards, lending partnerships, insurance, and ecosystem integrations.

- Collaborate with technology, operations, compliance, and partner teams to deliver seamless customer experiences.

- Define business requirements, prepare PRDs/BRDs, and manage end-to-end product implementation.

- Ensure compliance with RBI, KYC/AML, and internal regulatory guidelines.

- Monitor portfolio performance, customer adoption, and key business metrics to drive continuous improvements.

- Lead UAT, issue resolution, and go-live readiness for new product launches and enhancements.

Desired Skills & Experience:

- Strong understanding of current accounts, merchant payments, digital banking, and fintech ecosystems.

- Experience in product management, business banking, merchant acquisition, or payments.

- Knowledge of RBI regulations, KYC/AML processes, and digital onboarding frameworks.

- Familiarity with API integrations, digital journeys, data analysis, Excel, and SQL.

- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree with MBA (Marketing, Finance, or related field preferred).

- 7-10 years of relevant experience in Banking, Payments, Fintech, or Product Management.
