
Job Purpose:
Support the team in shaping Air India's route network strategy, optimizing fleet deployment, and driving profitability across domestic and international markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Route Strategy- Identify and evaluate new routes, recommend frequency/aircraft deployment, and support long-term growth.
- Market Analysis- Assess traffic flows, yields, competitor activity, and monitor industry/regulatory developments.
- Stakeholder Engagement- Collaborate with sales, airports, and tourism bodies to validate market opportunities.
- Fleet & Schedule Optimization- Work with scheduling/slots teams to design efficient, connected, and feasible schedules.
- Data-Driven Insights- Apply forecasting models and revenue metrics to guide network decisions.
- Performance Reporting- Prepare reports/presentations for senior management on network performance and recommendations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration- Align with Revenue Management, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to meet business goals.
- Advocacy- Represent route planning in workshops, defending strategy and rationale for network changes.
- Compliance Monitoring- Stay updated on alliances, slot regulations, and policy changes impacting the network.
- Continuous Improvement - Enhance tools, processes, and methodologies for effective network planning.

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's in Operations, Business Administration, Aviation Management, or related field
- 3-5 years in analytical roles (preferably airline route planning); 5+ years in airline network planning (desired)
