
Job Purpose:
To lead the development, execution, and management of Air India's interline and codeshare partnerships in alignment with the airline's alliance strategy and regulatory compliance framework. The role is pivotal in enhancing network connectivity, optimizing revenue opportunities, and fostering strategic airline collaborations.
Key Responsibilities:
Partnership Development:
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with partner airlines.
- Represent Air India in partnership discussions and industry forums.
Agreement Management:
- Lead negotiations and administration of interline and codeshare agreements under the guidance of the Head - Interline/Codeshare.
- Ensure agreements align with Air India's strategic goals and comply with international aviation regulations.
- Conduct periodic reviews to ensure agreements reflect current market practices.
Operational Coordination:
- Collaborate with Pricing and Revenue Management teams to implement effective pricing strategies.
- Coordinate with Digital & IT, Network Planning, Sales, and Revenue Management to operationalize codeshare agreements.
Performance Monitoring:
- Track and analyze financial and operational performance of partnerships.
- Provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
Compliance & Evaluation:
- Assess the viability and performance of existing partnerships.
- Ensure all agreements meet regulatory and legal standards.

- Partner Airlines: Relationship management and agreement negotiation
- Regulatory Authorities: Compliance with aviation laws and standards
Education & Experience:
Minimum Education:
- Degree in Economics, Commerce, Engineering, Business Administration, Aviation Management, International Relations, or a related field
Experience:
Minimum: 3-5 years in consulting, investment banking, or relevant aviation roles (e.g., airport operations, ticketing, airline partnerships, revenue management)
Preferred: 5+ years in airline environments with exposure to revenue management and/or partnership management
