About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned and visionary leader to head our AI-led Marketplace practice, a key strategic initiative aimed at transforming how total trip lifecycle handling (TTLH) is delivered through AI and partner-led ecosystems.

This role will spearhead the design, development, and expansion of the marketplace platform by aligning business strategy with technology, product innovation, and partner integration.

You will work directly with the CSO and collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Technology, and Strategic Partnerships teams to turn the vision into a scalable and profitable business line.

Key Responsibilities (KRAs):

Strategic Ownership.

- Lead the vision, roadmap, and execution strategy for the AI-led marketplace platform aligned with organizational goals.

Practice Leadership.

- Build and scale the marketplace practice from the ground up, including team hiring, capability development, and operational excellence.

Ecosystem & Partnerships.

- Drive integration and growth through strategic partners (e., travel aggregators, mobility players, fintech providers); leverage white-label marketplace solutions like Marketplacer, Mirakl, etc., to enhance scalability and efficiency.

Product & AI Collaboration.

- Collaborate with Product and Tech teams to incorporate AI/ML features that personalize experiences and optimize platform performance.

Sales & GTM Enablement.

- Support Sales and Marketing with solution positioning, GTM strategies, client pitches, and revenue planning.

Client & Delivery Excellence.

- Oversee client implementations and ensure seamless delivery, partner success, and innovation across the customer journey.

Candidate Profile:.

- Minimum 15 years of experience, with at least 5-7 years in marketplace platforms, e-commerce, platform services, or digital ecosystems.

- Proven track record in building practices/business units, P&L ownership, and delivery leadership.

- Deep understanding of AI/ML applications, platform strategy, and partner ecosystems.

- Industry experience in travel, mobility, retail, commerce, fintech, or related sectors preferred.

- Strong CXO-level communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills.

- Exposure to platforms like Marketplacer, Mirakl, VTEX, Unirgy, or similar whitelabel marketplace systems is a strong plus.
