Designation - Senior Payroll Specialist

Location - Rohini West

Responsibilities:

- Manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely calculation of wages, deductions, and benefits for all employees.

- Process bi-weekly/monthly payroll runs, including data entry, verification, and reconciliation.

- Administer all payroll-related deductions, including taxes, benefits, and garnishments, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

- Prepare and submit accurate and timely payroll tax filings (e.g, PF, ESI, TDS, PT) and other statutory reports.

- Stay up-to-date on changes in payroll laws and regulations and implement necessary updates to payroll processes and systems.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee payroll inquiries, resolving issues efficiently and professionally.

- Maintain accurate and confidential employee payroll records and documentation in compliance with legal and company requirements.

- Process employee onboarding and offboarding related to payroll, including new hire setup and final pay calculations.

- Prepare and distribute payroll-related reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual summaries.

- Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure seamless integration of payroll data with other systems.

- Participate in internal and external audits related to payroll.

- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy.

- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of payroll software and systems.

- Manage and process employee expense reimbursements in accordance with company policy.

- Handle any special payroll-related requests or projects as needed.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in payroll administration and processing.

- In-depth knowledge of payroll administration principles and best practices.

- Strong understanding of garnishments, payroll taxes (including PF, ESI, TDS, PT), and relevant labor laws and regulations in India.

- Proven experience in providing excellent payroll services and resolving employee payroll inquiries effectively.

- Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in payroll processing.

- Proficiency in using MS Excel (including advanced formulas and data manipulation) and payroll software (experience with [mention specific payroll software if applicable] is a plus).

- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

- Certification in Payroll Management or a related professional certification is a plus
