Role Overview
The Senior Human Resource Generalist will be responsible for managing and optimizing end-to-end HR operations while ensuring compliance, efficiency, and a strong employee experience.
This role combines operational excellence with people management, requiring expertise in HR systems, advanced data handling, and cross-functional collaboration.
The individual will act as a key partner to business leaders, employees, and HR leadership to drive seamless HR service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations Management
- Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of HR operations executives, ensuring performance, development, and engagement.
- Oversee employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding, transfers, promotions, and role changes.
- Ensure timely and accurate execution of benefits administration, leave management, and employee records.
HR Systems & Data Management
- Manage and maintain HRIS systems, ensuring data integrity, security, and accuracy at all times.
- Utilize Advanced Excel for reporting, data analysis, dashboards, and decision-making insights.
- Support automation and process improvement initiatives to streamline HR operations.
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, employment regulations, and company policies.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure HR processes withstand audits and meet statutory requirements.
- Manage employment documentation including contracts, performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and other employee records.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Payroll, Finance, and IT to ensure smooth integration of HR processes with other business systems.
- Partner with HR Business Partners and Talent teams to support workforce planning, employee engagement, and retention.
Employee Experience & Query Management
- Provide clear, timely, and professional communication to resolve concerns.
- Contribute to initiatives that improve employee satisfaction and overall HR service delivery.
Key Skills & Attributes
- Strong knowledge of HR operations, processes, and statutory compliance.
- Excellent proficiency in Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, reporting, data visualization).
- Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms and employee database management.
- Ability to manage a team effectively, fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and process accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to manage diverse stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 6-10 years of progressive HR operations/generalist experience, with at least 23 years in a supervisory role.
- Experience in a multinational or large-scale organization preferred
