Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

Role Overview

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is a critical, full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, responsible for translating Aimlay's business objectives into effective HR strategies and driving organizational effectiveness.

This position requires a minimum of 6 years of experience in HR and is pivotal in managing the employee lifecycle, ensuring strict compliance with labor laws, and acting as a trusted advisor to departmental leadership.

The incumbent will play a key role in cultivating a positive, high-performance workplace culture that is aligned with the company's commitment to equitable and transformative education.

Core Responsibilities and Strategic Partnership

- Strategic HR Implementation: Work collaboratively with departmental leadership and cross-functional teams to effectively implement HR Policies and programs that support operational goals and foster a performance-driven environment.

- Employee Relations (ER) Expertise: Utilize Expertise in Employee Relations to proactively manage, investigate, and resolve complex workforce issues, conflicts, and disciplinary matters, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies.

- Performance Management: Manage and execute the employee performance cycle, including goal setting, performance reviews, feedback mechanisms, and addressing workforce issues related to performance to drive individual and team improvement.

- Compliance and Labor Law: Ensure thorough Labor and Employment Law compliance across all HR activities, policies, and documentation, staying current with local and national regulations to mitigate legal risks.

- Advisory to Leadership: Advise leadership on best practices related to talent management, organizational design, workforce planning, and change management to enhance the organizations human resources strategies.

- Culture and Engagement: Actively contribute to fostering a positive workplace culture aligned with company values, championing employee engagement initiatives and supporting diversity and inclusion efforts.

Operational and Analytical Duties

- Policy Governance: Oversee the consistent application of all general Human Resources (HR) practices and policies, ensuring documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and communicated effectively to the workforce.

- HR Data Management: Utilize technology and maintain data integrity in HR systems. Leverage Experience in MS Excel Formulas and analytical tools to generate reports, analyze HR metrics (e.g., turnover, absenteeism, employee cost), and inform strategic HR decisions.

- On-Site Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in an on-site setting and collaborate across teams, serving as the dedicated HR point-of-contact for specific business units.

- Recruitment and Onboarding Support: Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team on workforce planning, supporting high-quality onboarding processes, and ensuring smooth integration of new employees.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Experience: Minimum 6 years in HR experience, with significant exposure as an HR Business Partner or similar advisory role.

- HR Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of HR Policies and general Human Resources (HR) practices across the employee lifecycle (recruitment, performance, compensation, exit).

- Compliance and ER: Expertise in Employee Relations best practices and in navigating Labor and Employment Law compliance requirements.

- Communication and Problem Solving: Excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving abilities to manage sensitive issues, mediate conflicts, and clearly present data-backed recommendations.

- Education: Bachelors or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Analytical Tools: Experience using MS Excel Formulas for HR data analysis and reporting
