Client Relationship Manager:
Vendor/Universities Tie-ups Relationship Management:
- Responsible for dealing with vendors and optimizing vendor-university relationships.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key vendors or universities.
- Address vendor concerns and resolve conflicts in a timely and effective manner.
- Effectively manage vendor relationships and contribute to the university's overall efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability goals.
Escalations Handling:
- Efficiently and promptly address and resolve vendor-related escalations, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and customer satisfaction.
- Implement a structured escalation handling process that includes issue identification, resolution, and communication.
- Maintain open and clear lines of communication with vendors to understand the nature of escalations and collaborate on resolution strategies.
Vendor / Universities Performance Monitoring:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the timely delivery of vendor products or services.
- Regularly communicate with vendors to address potential delays and find mutually beneficial solutions.
- Continuously assess and improve vendor management processes to streamline and enhance the timely delivery of products or services.
Negotiation Skills and resolve cost-related Issues:
- Identify opportunities for cost savings in vendor contracts, agreements, and procurement processes.
- Lead negotiations with vendors to secure favorable terms, including pricing, payment terms, and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Develop and manage the vendor management budget efficiently, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
Universities/Vendor Identification and Evaluation:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential vendors and opportunities for new contracts.
- Develop comprehensive contract proposals and negotiation strategies that align with university requirements and objectives.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with potential vendors to build trust and encourage collaboration.
- Effectively identify, negotiate, and secure new contracts for universities, aligning vendor partnerships with the institution's strategic objectives.
- Collaborate closely with the operations team to understand their needs, challenges, and requirements related to vendor services.
- Ensure alignment between vendor services and operational objectives.
- Coordinate with the operations team to identify and evaluate potential vendors based on their ability to meet operational needs and standards.
- Maintain open and transparent communication channels between the vendor management team, operations team, and vendors.
Manage Universities Accounts Payable:
- Effectively manage university accounts payable payouts, ensuring accuracy, compliance, cost-effectiveness, and timely payments to vendors while safeguarding the university's financial integrity.
- Maintain accurate records of all vendor payments and related documentation.
- Ensure payments are approved by relevant stakeholders in accordance with university financial policies
