Role Summary:

Aimlay, a global leader in academic and writing support services for working professionals, is seeking a high-caliber Business Head to lead our EdTech division. With over a decade of experience in facilitating PhD, DBA, and honorary doctorate programs through global university collaborations, we need a strategic visionary to drive our next phase of growth. Based in Delhi, you will own the end-to-end business strategy, overseeing complex operations and fostering international partnerships to expand our reach. You will be responsible for the full P&L, leading diverse teams to meet ambitious revenue targets while ensuring that our unique educational pathways remain accessible and flexible. This role demands a leader who can navigate the intersection of higher education and digital innovation, ensuring Aimlay remains a dominant force in empowering lifelong learners worldwide.

Responsibilities:

- Strategic Business Orchestration: Design and execute long-term business strategies that align with Aimlays mission to provide specialized PhD and professional doctorate support.

- Operations Governance: Oversee daily operations across the EdTech platform, ensuring seamless delivery of academic counseling and university coordination.

- Partnership Development: Foster and expand strategic collaborations with renowned global universities to increase the diversity and accessibility of academic courses.

- Financial Management: Own the budgeting, financial planning, and P&L for the EdTech vertical, ensuring consistent achievement of high-revenue targets.

- Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, manage, and scale cross-functional teams, instilling a results-driven culture focused on academic excellence and business growth.

- Growth Identification: Continuously explore and validate new growth opportunities in the EdTech space, focusing on experiential learning and professional accreditation.

- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between global university partners, internal departments, and the executive board to ensure organizational alignment.

- KPI & Metric Development: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track business health, team productivity, and student success rates.

- Digital Transformation: Leverage digital tools and marketing platforms to optimize business operations and drive lead generation for high-value academic programs.

- Project Management Mastery: Oversee complex project lifecycles, from new university onboarding to the launch of niche academic products and honorary pathways.

Technical Requirements:

- EdTech Mastery: Extensive experience in the Education or EdTech sector, with a deep understanding of higher education trends and professional learning needs.

- Financial Acumen: Proven expertise in financial modeling, large-scale budgeting, and achieving year-on-year revenue growth.

- Strategic Operations: Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume operational workflows within a service-based educational platform.

- Digital Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of utilizing CRM systems, educational ERPs, and digital marketing ecosystems to drive business scale.

- Core Education: A Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Education, or a related field is mandatory; an MBA or equivalent is highly preferred.

Preferred Skills:

- Global University Liaison: Prior experience in handling international university tie-ups and understanding global accreditation standards.

- Innovative Mindset: Ability to design creative pathways for recognizing real-world knowledge, such as honorary doctorates or experiential DBAs.
