Role Overview
Were looking for a Senior Product Analyst who will act as the analytical backbone of our product stack. This role goes far beyond reporting - your mandate is to shape product decisions using data, experimentation, and structured thinking. You will partner closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Design, and Growth teams to answer the hardest questions: Where are funnels breaking? What should we build next? Why is a metric moving? Did this feature actually work?
Whatll you do?
Own Product Metrics & Measurement
- Define and own product success metrics across activation, engagement, retention, and monetization.
- Ensure metric definitions are consistent across tools and teams.
- Act as the final authority on "what the number actually means."
Deep User & Funnel Analysis
- Build and analyse key user funnels and cohorts to identify drop-offs and growth levers.
- Perform behavioural analysis to understand why users act the way they do.
- Identify high-impact opportunities to improve product outcomes.
Experimentation & Impact Analysis
- Design and evaluate A/B tests and experiments with clear hypotheses and success criteria.
- Measure feature impact post-launch and communicate results with clarity and confidence.
- Call out false positives, weak signals, and misleading conclusions.
Product Decision Support
- Support roadmap prioritization with data-backed insights.
- Quantify trade-offs and expected impact for product bets.
- Participate in post-mortems and help teams learn quickly from failures.
Data Quality & Instrumentation
- Work with Product and Engineering to ensure correct event tracking and data integrity.
- Audit analytics instrumentation regularly and fix gaps proactively.
- Improve trust and reliability of dashboards and reports.
Insight Communication
- Translate complex analyses into clear, actionable narratives.
- Present insights to senior stakeholders in a concise, decision-oriented manner.
- Influence product strategy through evidence, not opinions.
What Were Looking For:
Requirements:
- 4-7+ years of experience in product analytics, business analytics, or data analytics in a tech/product company.
- Strong hands-on experience with product analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude, GA, or similar).
- Excellent SQL skills; ability to work directly with large datasets.
- Solid understanding of statistics, experimentation, and causal thinking.
- Experience working closely with PMs and engineering teams.
Mindset:
- Hypothesis-driven thinker who starts with questions, not charts.
- Comfortable challenging assumptions and saying this doesnt prove what you think it proves.
- Strong ownership mindsetyou care about outcomes, not just analysis.
- Ability to balance speed with analytical rigor in a fast-moving environment.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in marketplaces, e-commerce, or multi-sided platforms.
- Familiarity with data warehouses (BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake).
- Exposure to experimentation platforms or custom A/B frameworks.
