The Program Manager - Seller Compliance is responsible for designing, implementing, and scaling compliance programs related to seller onboarding, authorization, regulatory adherence, and ongoing monitoring. The role ensures that sellers operating on the platform meet all legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements without creating unnecessary friction for growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Seller Compliance Program Ownership:

Own end-to-end seller compliance lifecycle:

- Onboarding & KYC & Re KYC

- License & authorization verification

- Periodic renewals and audits

- Define, document, and maintain seller compliance SOPs

2. Regulatory & Brand Compliance:

- Ensure adherence to central and state-level regulations applicable to sellers

- Manage brand authorization / principal permissions where required

- Monitor controls to prevent unauthorized selling, or restricted listings

3. Cross-Functional Execution:

- Partner closely with Product, Legal, Supply, Category, and Ops teams

- Translate compliance rules into product-level controls (listing blocks, seller-brand rules, alerts)

- Act as the single owner for seller-side compliance initiatives

4. Process Design & Automation:

Build scalable workflows and run operations for :

- Seller KYC & re-KYC

- License validation & expiry management

- Brand-seller mapping and eligibility checks

- Drive automation-first solutions over manual enforcement

5. Monitoring, Audits & Enforcement:

- Define metrics to monitor seller compliance health

- Conduct periodic internal audits and compliance reviews

- Own exception handling, escalations, penalties, and corrective actions.

Ideal Candidate :

Someone who has handled seller compliance operations in pharma or similar industry in an e commerce setup. The role requires tight control on process execution, metric monitoring, ultra-fast execution as key skills and experience.
