Role Overview:

AGRIM is looking for a highly analytical and execution-driven Inventory Manager to lead end-to-end inventory planning, optimization, and liquidation strategies across seasonal and non-seasonal categories. Working closely with Category Managers, Senior Management, and cross-functional teams, this role will be critical in ensuring healthy inventory turns, minimizing dead stock, and improving product availability across a rapidly scaling agri-tech marketplace. The role requires driving proactive liquidation strategies - both online and offline - including structured models such as Sale-or-Return (SOR), while enabling efficient working capital utilization

Key Responsibilities:-

- Lead seasonal inventory planning in collaboration with Category Managers to ensure optimal stock positioning.

- Drive inventory budget alignment with Senior Management against open-to-buy plans each season

- Develop and execute sale and liquidation strategies to minimize inventory losses and protect margin.

- Own and drive improvement in inventory turn rates through data-driven planning and replenishment optimization.

- Build and scale an offline liquidation network to create reliable channels for clearing excess inventory.

- Develop and implement inventory control strategies to optimize stock levels across the supply chain.

- Monitor and analyze inventory performance metrics, ensuring data accuracy and timely reporting for stakeholders.

- Partner with Demand, Operations, Supply and Finance teams to generate accurate demand forecasts and prevent stock imbalances.

- Design and implement a holistic liquidation framework integrating online, offline, and partner channels.

- Lead the rollout of a Sale-or-Return (SOR) model with aligned sellers, establishing clear processes and governance.

Qualifications & Experience:-

- 2+ Years experience overall / 1+ Year experience around warehousing or Inventory Management

- Prior Experience in e-commerce / high growth startups

- Analytical and Highly Data Oriented (SQL/Python would be an added advantage)
