Role Summary
As a Business Finance Analyst at Agrim, you will be the analytical backbone of the supply and category teams. You will drive insights that improve unit economics, optimize working capital, evaluate pricing/discount decisions, and enable granular SKU- and seller-level interventions. This role sits at the intersection of finance, operations, and data science.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Own P&L modeling for key business verticals (wholesale, retail, credit, brand partnerships).
- Deep-dive into unit economics (COGS, logistics, revenue, supply etc.).
- Create dynamic dashboards for GMV, margin, contribution, and ROI metrics.
Working Capital & Inventory Intelligence
- Analyze inventory turns, slow/fast movers, and dead stock risk.
- Drive decision-making on return-to-seller models, credit policies, and buying cycles.
- Track and optimize DSO/DPO at SKU, seller, and region level.
Category & Pricing Strategy
- Evaluate pricing, margin trade-offs, and discount structures for both branded and unbranded SKUs.
- Run experiments and measure performance of credit schemes and volume discounts.
Business Decision Support
- Build automated financial models to support procurement, supply chain, and product teams.
- Work closely with leadership to improve productivity and efficiency in processes
Who You Are
Must-Haves
- 2-4 years of experience in FP&A, business finance, or strategy roles.
- Strong analytical and Excel modeling skills; proficiency of SQL is a must.
- Prior experience in e-commerce, agri-tech, or B2B marketplaces is preferred.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and fast-paced decision-making environments.
- Experience in BI tools (e.g. Zoho Analytics, Metabase).
Nice-to-Haves
- CA, CFA Level 1/2, MBA Finance, or similar educational background.
