Role Overview
This is a high impact leadership role where you will lead the team building and management of a 200+ inside tele sales force tasked with onboarding retailers onto our platform (Agrim Retailer App
).Your mandate is simple but demanding - Lead the inside sales force to onboard 200,000 agri-input retailers in 2 years while maintaining Cost of Acquisition (CAC) discipline.

This role is the heartbeat of our growth engine. AGRIM's growth depends on deep rural penetration, high-quality retailer onboarding, and consistent order generation. This role forms the backbone of this execution engine - ensuring inside sales team gives predictable and scalable performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and scale team: Hire, train, and manage a 200+ member inside telesales team across multiple locations.
- Own retailer acquisition targets: Drive monthly retailer onboarding run-rates to deliver the mandate of 200,000 agri-input retailers in 2 years while maintaining CAC discipline.
- Design sales playbook: Create, standardize, and continuously improve sales scripts, call workflows, objection-handling frameworks, and training modules tailored to agri-input retailers,
- Run performance governance: Set up rigorous MIS, dashboards, funnel reviews, and call-quality audits to track productivity, conversion, and CAC at rep, pod, and program level.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with Product and Marketing to refine value propositions, campaigns, and onboarding journeys based on frontline feedback and funnel insights.
Success Metrics:
- Monthly retailer onboardings run rate.
- Customer Acquisition cost
- Quality of Retailer onboarding.
Requirements:
- 10- 12 years of Inside Sales experience in sales force management in industries such as FMCG, fintech, telecom, microfinance, or B2B market places.
- Minimum 2 years leading a team of atleast 150 members as Senior Manager/AVP.
- Hands-on with data-driven sales ops (MIS, dashboards, funnel metrics)
- Strong grasp of unit economics and experience driving CAC discipline.
