About the Company: A leading Retail Group of India (for their D2C websites)
Location: Mumbai
Reporting to: Head Ecommerce
Team size: 1 member
Working Days: 5 days/week
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the growth and profitability of D2C brand websites.
- Drive primary & secondary sales, manage inventory, pricing, gross margins, and full P&L ownership for D2C channels.
- Design and execute end-to-end business strategies, including digital transformation initiatives for D2C growth.
- Collaborate with performance marketing, UI/UX, digital, and IT teams to enhance user experience and drive conversion rates.
- Plan new product/category launches through direct-to-consumer strategies.
- Oversee traffic generation, consumer engagement, and promotional campaign execution across owned digital assets.
- Analyse D2C business performance metrics and present insights and QBRs to senior leadership.
- Ensure operational excellence and smooth coordination across supply chain, finance, and digital teams.
- Build and lead a high-performing D2C team with strong ownership and agility.
Skills & Expertise required:
- MBA degree with atleast 5 years of experience in D2C or Ecommerce marketing.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong commercial acumen, business foresight, and growth orientation.
- D2C Expertise: In-depth understanding of D2C ecosystem, customer behavior, and digital journeys.
- Technical Know-how: Experience in product launches, UI/UX optimization, funnel tracking.
- Communication & Negotiation: Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical Proficiency: Strong command of Excel, performance dashboards, and reporting.
- Platform Knowledge: Understanding of Shopify, analytics tools, CMS platforms models.
