Agelix Consulting - Financial Analyst

Under general direction of the India Controller and the CFO, the Financial Analyst cultivates data-driven planning and decision making across Biogas Engineering (BGE), including creating and maintaining budget and forecast modelling on a monthly and quarterly basis for both internal and external reporting.

In addition, the position supports India operations, project analysis and support business initiatives with data driven decision making as well as special projects performing deep analysis on business drivers and opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Proficient with MS Office tools, expert in Excel skills and deep experience in Net Suite ERP environment

- Minimum of 3 years' experience working for a US based firm.

- Proven aptitude to simplify complex problems and build solutions

- Expert proficiency with financial reporting tools

- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate analyses into decisions and actions

- Experience and confidence to make operational recommendations

- Ability to work independently and set priorities to meet deadlines

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact / collaborate with team members at all levels of the business

Essential Functions:

- Assist in improving BGE's financial performance through analysis of financial results against budgets and forecasts, by communicating root cause of variances, and by highlighting financial trends through the publication of monthly financial reports

- Lead annual and periodic budget and forecast processes and improve large project budget and review processes in India

- Collaborate regularly with business, finance and operations leadership to continually improve and enhance forecasting and reporting

- Act as a business partner supporting operations project and other business decisions

- Collaborate with the accounting team reconciling costs and expenses

- Take part in the monthly close as needed

- Assist with the preparation of deliverables as required

- All other duties as assigned
