Role Overview:

This role involves managing manpower across shifts for mass and batch production, ensuringproductivity and adherence to the production plan. Key responsibilities include maintaining process compliance, QMS standards, CNC, VMC, Special Process machine operation oversight, and supporting operators with troubleshooting and setup. It focuses on safety, quality, rejection control (RCCA), operator skill development, and performance tracking. The role also includes cross-department coordination for inventory and implementing continuous improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manpower management in shifts for mass/batch production.

- Responsible for achieving on time productivity within shift as per production plan.

- Analyse production priorities.

- Responsible for and ensuring the process compliance & QMS.

- Safely run and maintain machines as needed.

- Help machine operators with problem solving, adjustments, and setups.

- Responsible safety, quality, and company policy.

- Responsible for controlling rejections and RCCA.

- Responsible for improving operators skill set by providing the input for training requirement by updating skill metrics.

- Responsible for updating operators performance metrics in their shifts.

- Work as a team in the machine shop with tooling, inspection and other production and assembly departments.

- Coordinate about inventory requirements with assembly, PPC & projects dept.

- Responsible for implementing new improvements projects.

Required Skillset:

- Hands on experience on CNC, VMC machines with programming skill/troubleshooting on Fanuc/Siemens control. (Hydraulic press/stamping machines experience will be added advantage).

- Knowledge of cutting tools & measuring instruments.

- Knowledge CNC Machines and manufacturing processes.

- Setup and trouble shoot machine operation.

- Exposure on CNC Programming & training to machine operators.

- Knowledge of advance manufacturing techniques like 5S, TPM, Kaizen, Pokayoke, OEE, JIT, Takt time & quality tools etc.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products - Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
