Transfer Pricing Consultant
About the Role:
- Functional Analysis and Benchmarking: Conduct detailed functional analyses (FAR analysis) to identify functions performed, assets utilized, and risks assumed by related parties. Perform comprehensive benchmarking studies using various databases (e.g., Orbis, Amadeus, RoyaltyStat) to determine arm's length ranges for intercompany transactions.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data, prepare financial models, and perform profitability analyses to support transfer pricing policies and compliance.
- Policy Implementation and Review: Support the implementation of transfer pricing policies and assist in the periodic review and update of existing policies to ensure ongoing compliance and effectiveness.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify potential transfer pricing risks and assist in developing strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Advisory Support: Provide advisory support on various transfer pricing matters, including business restructurings, intercompany service agreements, and intellectual property arrangements.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) is highly preferred.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA) are a significant advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years of dedicated experience in transfer pricing, either within a consulting firm, a multinational corporation's in-house tax department, or a Big Four accounting firm.
