MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:
- Master's degree in business administration. Degree in Petroleum Engineering or mechanical/ chemical/ instrumentation or a related field will be a big plus.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Minimum of 20-25 years of experience in retail operations, preferably within the oil and petroleum industry.
- Proven track record of leadership in a senior management position, with significant experience in managing large-scale retail operations.
- Experience in leading multi-location operations, driving process improvement, and managing large teams.
- Knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements.

- Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to drive high performance and foster a positive work environment.
- Strong financial acumen, with the ability to analyze data, develop financial forecasts, and manage budgets effectively.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Vice President - Retail Oil & Petroleum will serve as the leader responsible for the strategic direction, growth, and management of the retail division within the Oil & Petroleum sector including LPG. This role encompasses overseeing all aspects of retail operations, including managing relationships with fuel suppliers, developing and executing marketing and pricing strategies, branding, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and optimizing profitability across a network of retail service stations.
JOB DESCRIPTION IN DETAIL:
1. Strategic Leadership:
- Define and execute the retail division's strategy in alignment with the overall company vision and goals.
- Lead market expansion initiatives, including identifying new locations for retail stations and managing the growth of the existing network.
2. Operations Management:
- Oversee all retail operations, including fuel retail, convenience stores, car washes, and related services.
- Implement best practices for retail site management, service station operations, and customer service.
- Drive operational efficiency and cost control while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and compliance.
- LPG retail operations supply chain management
3. Financial Management:
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance for the retail division.
- Monitor key performance indicators such as sales growth, profit margins, and cost per unit.
- Ensure proper pricing strategies are in place to remain competitive while maximizing profitability.
- Drive initiatives to reduce costs, optimize operations, and improve the bottom line.
4. Sales and Marketing Strategy:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase foot traffic, boost fuel sales, and drive customer loyalty.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to run promotions, loyalty programs, and branding initiatives across retail locations.
- Build strategic relationships with suppliers, distributors, and other key stakeholders to drive retail growth.
- Effective sales management to expand network of distribution, drive volumes and margins
5. Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of retail managers, regional leaders, and field operations staff.
- Ensure that all retail locations are staffed with highly trained employees who are knowledgeable about products, services, and customer service best practices.
6. Regulatory & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with local, regional, and national regulations, including environmental standards, health and safety laws, and fuel quality regulations.
- Monitor and ensure that all fuel stations are compliant with safety standards, including risk management practices.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies to stay updated on industry regulations, policies, and trends.
