Aegis Logistics - Senior Vice President - Projects

JOB SUMMARY:

Sr. Vice President Project will be responsible for leading the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale oil and gas terminal development projects. This executive role involves overseeing engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operational handover of the terminal, ensuring that all project objectives i.e. safety, schedule, budget, and quality are met.

JOB DISCRIPTION IN DETAIL:

Leadership & Strategy:

- Provide strategic direction and executive leadership across all phases of the terminal project.

- Develop and execute long-term plans aligned with business objectives, regulatory compliance, and sustainability goals.

Project Management:

- Lead the planning, design, procurement, and construction of oil and gas terminal facilities as per the Management directives.

- Oversee multi-disciplinary project teams including engineering, procurement, construction, HSSE, finance, and legal.

- Ensure timely and cost-effective project execution while maintaining high safety and environmental standards.

- Manage project risks and implement mitigation plans.

Financial Oversight:

- Develop and control the project budget; ensure robust cost management and value engineering.

- Secure project financing in coordination with finance teams and potential investors.

- Report project progress, financial health, and risks to the Board.

Stakeholder Engagement:

- Act as the primary liaison with government bodies, local communities, international partners, and contractors.

- Negotiate key commercial contracts (EPC, O&M, JV agreements etc)

- Manage public relations and community engagement to build positive project reputation.

Operations Interface:

- Ensure seamless transition from project phase to operations and asset management.

- Collaborate with operations teams to integrate operational requirements during design and commissioning stages.
