MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:

- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Petroleum); Masters degree or MBA preferred.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- 20+ years of experience in oil & gas terminal operations, with at least 15 years in senior management roles.

- Proven experience in managing multi-location operations, preferably in liquid bulk terminals, tank farms, or LPG facilities.

- Deep knowledge of operational standards

- Strong leadership, crisis management, and stakeholder communication skills.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Vice President - Operations (National Head) is responsible for leading and overseeing the safe, efficient, and reliable operations of all oil and gas terminal facilities across the country. This includes crude oil, petroleum products, LPG, and chemical storage terminals. The role ensures operational excellence, regulatory compliance, commercial performance, and implementation of best-in-class HSE and maintenance practices across all terminal sites.

JOB DESCRIPTION IN DETAIL:

1. National Operations Leadership:

- Direct and manage operations of all terminal assets across multiple locations nationwide.

- Drive operational consistency and excellence through implementation of standardized systems and processes.

- Ensure seamless integration between field operations, corporate planning, and commercial teams.

2. Safety, Health, Environment, and Security (SHES):

- Lead a zero-incident safety culture across all sites.

- Ensure strict compliance with local and international HSE regulations and standards.

- Oversee emergency response and business continuity planning.

3. Asset Integrity & Maintenance:

- Ensure optimal uptime and availability of all terminal assets through preventive and predictive maintenance programs.

- Implement reliability centred maintenance practices.

- Oversee CAPEX/OPEX budgets for operational and maintenance activities.

4. Regulatory & Statutory Compliance:

- Ensure all terminals comply with environmental laws, safety regulations, PESO regulations, and other statutory standards & requirements.

- Liaise with government agencies, local authorities, and auditors.

5. Commercial and Operational Performance:

- Monitor and drive throughput, turnaround time, inventory accuracy, operational costs, and terminal utilization.

- Support commercial teams in client management, contract compliance, and operational Service Level Agreements.

- Identify cost optimization and efficiency improvement opportunities.

6. People and Organizational Leadership:

- Lead, mentor, and develop a large geographically dispersed operations team.

- Ensure proper training, competency development, and succession planning across operational roles.

- Build a high-performance culture centred on accountability, safety, and service delivery.
