About the job:

ADVANZ PHARMA is seeking an experienced Associate Director, Strategic Sourcing to join our Global Supply Chain team. This is a high-impact role focused on building strategic supplier partnerships, leading commercial negotiations, driving procurement excellence, and ensuring supply continuity across our global pharmaceutical portfolio.

As Associate Director, Strategic Sourcing, you will lead strategic supplier partnerships, negotiate complex global agreements, drive cost optimisation, and influence sourcing decisions across our international pharmaceutical portfolio.

What You'll Do:

- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for pharmaceutical finished products, materials, and services to support business growth and supply continuity.

- Build and manage strategic relationships with global suppliers and manufacturing partners, driving long-term value and collaboration.

- Lead commercial and contract negotiations, delivering favourable outcomes while balancing risk, cost, quality, and service.

- Monitor supplier performance through KPIs, business reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational excellence.

- Identify and deliver cost optimisation opportunities while supporting procurement and cost-of-goods targets.

- Manage supplier risks, escalation issues, and mitigation plans to ensure uninterrupted supply and compliance.

- Generate market intelligence and procurement insights to support strategic decision-making and future supplier strategies.

- Collaborate across Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, and Commercial teams to drive business performance and embody ADVANZ PHARMA's values of Entrepreneurship, Speed, Integrity, and One Team.

What We're Looking For:

- Significant pharmaceutical procurement and strategic sourcing experience.

- Proven supplier management and contract negotiation expertise.

- Strong commercial acumen and a results-oriented mindset.

- Experience working with global suppliers and CMOs/CDMOs.

- MCIPS, MILT, or equivalent qualification preferred.
