Your Responsibilities:

This position will have a combination of FP&A responsibilities for the North America Corn business of the Carbohydrate Solutions business unit and data analyst responsibilities for Global Carbohydrate Solutions. The candidate will be supporting the business in creating and automating scorecards to track strategic financial and business objectives. Key success factors for this role include teamwork, strong analytical and communication skills, and ability to quickly adapt to changing business and project needs. Once a base understanding of the business and processes has been established, suggestions for process and data improvements will be an important aspect of this role.

The Carbohydrate Solutions, FP&A Analyst reports directly to the FP&A Director, Carbohydrate Solutions and partners closely with the Finance Director, NA Corn as part of Business Unit Finance.

- Gather requirements for scorecards; identify relevant data sources to support requirements

- Document and validate data extracts, interfaces, and metric calculations

- Design, develop, and validate business reports, visualizations and dashboards

- Manage data flows and reporting processes to ensure data accuracy

- Train and support Finance team members and business users to use reports and dashboards

- Support the building of NA Corn forecast with accurate and efficient templates

- Evaluate assumptions, assess risks and understand variances vs. prior year and vs. plan

- Accurately load data for forecast, annual plan and strategic plan into HFM

- Utilize HFM to extract data and create insightful reports for management

- Streamline complexities in processes while maintaining the integrity of the data needed to support the forecast, annual plan, and strategic plan

- Provide assistance on external and internal presentations for business unit as needed

- Benchmark company's financial and operating results against industry performance

Your Profile:

- Ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Strong organizational skills, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

- Strong communication skills to convey business data requirements and train business users on reporting tools

- Independent, inquisitive and a self-starter

- Demonstrated capacity to handle diverse number of projects simultaneously

- High level of attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

- Design mindset to prepare management reports and dashboards in a clear and concise manner

- Experience with Microsoft PowerBI, Power Query, and advanced Excel is required

- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Computer Science or related field required

- Minimum of 5 years in financial role, data science, or accounting role

- Successful candidate will have a combination of finance and data training and experience
