1. Job Purpose

To drive HNI client acquisition and business growth through direct sourcing, relationship management, and delivery of high-quality financial solutions tailored to the investment needs of HNI individuals.

2. Key Challenges:


- Strong understanding of financial products, markets, and HNI client behavior.


- Synergize with all relevant verticals for achieving the desired objective.

- Ensuring high volume of business in the given location/segment to achieve the desired gross sales.

- Proven track record in direct HNI sales and relationship management.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Ensure all SEBI/AMFI rules and regulations are strictly complied.

3. Principal Accountabilities

Client Acquisition & Business Development

- Identify and acquire new HNI clients through self-sourcing, references, and market networking.

- Drive business growth by pitching products and other investment avenues.

- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets across key parameters.

Channel Activation and Growth

- Drives activation and empanelment of new clients to achieve higher sales volumes

- Engages with new clients to ensure activation of dormant relationships and addition of new relationships

- Partners with corporates to ensure ongoing sales growth ensures positioning of ABSLAMC as a preferred and most trusted AMC.

- Facilitates segmentation within the respective channels to adapt different strategies for catering to various distributors

Client Engagement


- Meets clients on a regular basis and identifies potential ones to be earmarked for higher business opportunities

- Disseminates updates and other product related information to respective channels on time

- Drives clients engagement programs for respective channel

Business development Support

- Works closely with the BD team to provide feedback from the market and follows up on action plans set out by the BD team

- Designs and implements various events, contests and promotional activities to ensure visibility.

Compliance & Reporting


- Ensures that all statutory regulations related to information sharing, application processing & publicity are complied with


- Ensures AMFI Certification of team members is updated within stipulated time

- Furnishes relevant sales reports to Regional & Zonal Head

- Ensures that sales portal is up-to-date with requisite information provided by RMs

Team & People Management

- Provides regular guidance and develops capabilities of team members through regular feedback sharing

- Evaluates consolidated reports and monitors performance of RMs on weekly basis and takes corrective measures for any deviations from required achievements

4) Job Purpose of Direct Reports:

- Sr. Relationship Manager / Relationship Manager - This role is responsible for managing a set of relationships, acquisition of new relationships and driving achievement of the sales target expected from the relationships.
