Role Overview
We are looking to hire an experienced Senior Account Manager for our Chennai region to lead and manage key digital marketing accounts.
This role involves owning client relationships, digital strategy, execution oversight, and team management, with responsibilities structured around the candidates area of expertise and interest.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of strategic thinking, hands-on digital knowledge, and client-facing leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Strategy & Account Ownership:
- Own end-to-end digital account management for multiple clients.
- Formulate brand and digital strategies, including:
- Online and social integration
- Media planning
- KPI-driven campaign roadmaps
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring strong relationships and satisfaction.
- Travel for client meetings and business reviews as required.
Digital Strategy & Execution Oversight:
- Provide strategic direction across SEO, SEM, Analytics, and Digital Media Planning.
- Drive innovative campaign ideas and adoption of new technologies and platforms.
- Oversee media spend management for digital campaigns, ensuring optimal ROI.
- Analyze campaign performance and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
Delivery & Operations Management:
- Manage day-to-day planning and execution across multiple projects to ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Oversee website management including concept, design, development, and optimization.
- Ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and performance benchmarks.
Team Leadership & Performance Management:
- Build, mentor, and manage high-performing digital teams.
- Drive performance management, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Encourage collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of proven experience as a Digital / Account Manager.
- Hands-on experience with SEO, SEM, and digital strategy.
- Strong understanding of online marketing tools, analytics, and social media platforms.
- Experience in client servicing, account management, and customer success.
- Proven ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience in team handling and leadership.
