We are now hiring a Business Head to own and scale our flagship subscription-based product end-to-end. This is a full P&L + full-stack leadership role, spanning product, tech, growth, content, GTM and customer experience.
Role Overview-
You will head the subscription business - driving revenue, retention, consumer experience and long-term product-market fit. Your north star: Build Bharat's most loved learning subscription through habit-forming product experiences and high-velocity growth.
What You Will Own
1. P&L Ownership & Strategy Leadership
- Full ownership of revenue, margins, CAC, LTV, churn, payback & retention.
- Build the 12-quarter strategy and annual operating plan.
- Construct a subscription-first engine: trials - conversions - renewals - autopay retention - referrals.
- Drive pricing, packaging and monetisation strategy across learner segments and states.
2. Product & Consumer Experience (PM + GM Role)
- Own the product roadmap and execution with engineering, design and content.
- Build features that power DAU/WAU growth, learning minutes, habit loops, NPS, stickiness and renewal rate.
- Shape the full learner journey: onboarding - discovery - learning - outcomes - renewal.
- Run rapid A/B tests on funnels, pricing, nudges, content formats, trial flows and paywalls.
3. Growth, Marketing & Distribution
- Build high-efficiency, self-sustaining growth loops inspired by OTT & gaming ecosystems.
- Reduce CAC using content-led growth, influencers, creators, vernacular campaigns & performance marketing.
- Lead GTM for new features, new exam categories, new geographies & pricing innovations.
- Build referral engines, gamification systems, XP loops, streaks and personalised nudges.
4. Content & Academic Strategy
- Define the content model across recorded, live, modular, micro-learning, practice-first and AI-led experiences.
- Work with SMEs, creators and teachers to build scalable, high-speed content pipelines.
- Drive content quality frameworks: completions, satisfaction, outcomes and user insights.
5. Service, Support & Customer Experience
- Own the full support ecosystem: chat, WhatsApp, in-app help, renewals & subscription management.
- Ensure frictionless payments, autopay success, refunds, customer trust and service quality.
6. Leadership & Cross-Functional Management
- Hire and lead across growth, product, ops, content, partnerships, analytics & learner success.
- Build a culture of speed, experimentation, accountability and first-principles problem solving.
- Drive weekly business reviews, financial tracking, dashboards & deep-dive analyses.
Ideal Candidate Profile
1. You are a leader who has:
2. Scaled a B2C subscription product (consumer internet / OTT / fintech / gaming / edtech).
3. Deep experience in PLG (product-led growth) and building habit-forming products.
4. Owned and delivered P&L of - 20-150 Cr or equivalent business lines.
5. Strong understanding of Tier-2/3/4 Bharat users, their behaviours, trust gaps, price sensitivities & learning patterns.
6. A data-obsessed approach - cohorts, CPC/CAC funnels, retention curves, paywalls, payback analysis.
7. Ability to translate user insights into product, pricing and growth levers.
8. Comfort switching between strategy, execution and weekly operational hustle.
What Makes You a Top Choice
