We are looking for a hands-on, builder-minded CHRO to join our leadership team and help scale a fast-growing, city-centric business. Key Responsibilities:
People Strategy & Leadership:
- Own and drive the overall people strategy aligned with business growth and city expansion plans
- Act as a trusted advisor to the Founder, Leadership Team, and City Growth Directors
- Build a strong leadership pipeline and succession plans for city and central teams
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning:
- Design and execute scalable hiring strategies for sales, acquisition, operations, and leadership roles
- Partner with business leaders to forecast manpower needs aligned with city-level P&L goals
- Build employer branding to attract high-energy, on-ground, startup-ready talent
Performance, Culture & Capability Building:
- Establish a performance-driven culture with clear OKRs/KPIs across city teams
- Design performance management, incentive, and reward frameworks aligned with revenue and growth targets
- Build a strong culture of ownership, hustle, accountability, and speed
- Drive leadership development and capability-building programs
HR Operations & Compliance:
- Own HR operations across the employee lifecycle: onboarding, engagement, retention, exits
- Ensure compliance with Indian labor laws, statutory requirements, and HR governance
- Implement scalable HR processes, policies, and HRMS systems
What Makes You a Great Fit:
- 8+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably in startups, consumer-tech, media, or high-growth companies
- Proven experience scaling teams across multiple cities or regions
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align people strategy with P&L and growth goals
- Hands-on leader who can build, execute, and iterate, not just advise
- Comfortable working in ambiguity, fast changes, and weekly iterations
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership presence
- Passion for building culture in a high-hustle, on-ground execution environment
