Role Overview:
- The Finance Controller/ Record to Report role at Adani Enterprises Limited in Ahmedabad is a critical position responsible for overseeing the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial reporting. This role involves managing the record-to-report process, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements, and providing insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- The incumbent will collaborate closely with various internal teams, including accounting, treasury, and business units, as well as external auditors, to maintain a robust financial control environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end record-to-report process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with Ind AS and Schedule III requirements.
- Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring compliance with SEBI LODR regulations and CARO requirements.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.
- Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS reports, providing insightful analysis and commentary to management.
- Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate the smooth and efficient completion of statutory audits.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems, leveraging SAP to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure adherence to all applicable accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Provide guidance and support to the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Monitor and analyze key financial performance indicators, identifying trends and providing recommendations for improvement.
- Manage the preparation and filing of various regulatory reports, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated ability to manage the record-to-report process and ensure compliance with Ind AS, Schedule III, SEBI LODR, and CARO requirements.
- Proven expertise in preparing and analyzing financial statements, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide insightful recommendations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in SAP is essential.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is highly preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
