Role Overview:

The Finance Controller role at Adani Enterprises Limited in Ahmedabad is a critical position responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial reporting. This role involves managing financial controls, overseeing statutory audits, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The Finance Controller will work closely with the finance team, internal stakeholders, and external auditors to maintain a robust financial framework and provide timely and accurate financial information to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the preparation and review of financial statements in compliance with Ind AS and Schedule III requirements.

- Oversee the statutory audit process, ensuring timely completion and adherence to regulatory guidelines.

- Implement and maintain strong financial controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.

- Ensure compliance with SEBI LODR regulations and other relevant statutory requirements.

- Prepare and analyze MIS reports to provide insights into financial performance and support decision-making.

- Manage CARO reporting requirements and ensure accurate and timely submission.

- Utilize SAP for financial accounting, reporting, and analysis.

- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve financial issues and improve processes.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with Ind AS and Schedule III.

- Proven experience in managing statutory audits and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

- Strong understanding of financial controls and risk management principles.

- Experience with SEBI LODR regulations and CARO reporting.

- Proficiency in SAP for financial accounting and reporting.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CA is preferred.
