Key Responsibilities Research Leadership & Execution: - Lead end-to-end private equity research projects, from initial scoping to final delivery, ensuring adherence to client requirements and quality standards. - Conduct in-depth analysis of private equity markets, identifying key trends, opportunities, and risks. - Oversee and contribute to the generation of detailed market and company analysis reports, including competitive landscapes, industry deep dives, and company profiles. - Provide insightful commentary and strategic recommendations to clients based on rigorous research findings. Team Collaboration & Management: - Collaborate effectively with a team of research analysts, providing guidance, mentorship, and quality control. - Foster a high-performance, collaborative environment within the research team. - Ensure the timely delivery of all research outputs, managing project timelines and resources efficiently. Client Relationship Management: - Act as a key point of contact for clients on research projects, building and maintaining strong, professional relationships. - Understand client needs and objectives to tailor research approaches and deliverables effectively. - Present research findings and insights to clients in a clear, concise, and compelling manner. Market Intelligence & Strategic Input: - Stay continuously updated with the latest market trends, developments, and regulatory changes within the private equity sector. - Contribute to the development of new research methodologies and service offerings to enhance Acuity's capabilities in private equity. Required Background - Education: An Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative field is preferred. - Experience: 4-5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, modeling, and valuation, specifically within the private equity sector, investment banking, asset management, or a leading research/consulting firm. Core Skills: - Proven expertise in financial analysis, modeling, and valuation, with a strong understanding of private equity investment strategies and deal structures. - Demonstrated skills in market research and industry analysis, including qualitative and quantitative methodologies. - Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in guiding and mentoring junior analysts. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Proficiency in relevant financial software and tools (e.g., Bloomberg, Capital IQ, FactSet, PitchBook, Refinitiv).
